Why I’m Different

I’ve been in small business operations my entire career, learning from my dad who ran multiple successful ventures. I’ve worked in bed & breakfasts, events marketing, freelanced for years supporting small businesses, and even ran a convention center where I increased annual events from 325 to 475 (in North Dakota, no less—not exactly an events hotbed).

But here’s what really shaped my approach: I spent years feeling like my organizational skills and fast-paced ideas weren’t appreciated until I found my stride as Operations Manager for Nicki Krawczyk starting in 2021. That’s when I discovered my area of genius and met countless creative entrepreneurs who were brilliant at their craft but buried under operational tasks they shouldn’t be doing.

The pattern was clear: talented people stuck doing work outside their zone of genius, burning out instead of building the business they actually wanted.
